Many could be Cuban-Americans.

Cuban-Americans are not 41% of the Hispanic population.

I didn't say they were. However, it is Cuban-Americans who tend to vote GOP. It is obvious that some Latinos may have switched over to a GOP candidate over a Democrat one as long as they didn't run on an anti-amnesty, pro-enforcement of our immigration laws stance. Remember also, that they promised to punish the Democrats at the polls for not getting CIR passed. Look, I'd like to be more optimistic as you are about the Latino vote switching over to the GOP or that "immigration" isn't a priority to most of them but I can't lie to myself. The fact is that a whopping 64.6% of Hispanics in this country are from Mexican origin and guess where most illegal aliens are coming from?

Fine, but they're only 3.6% of the Hispanic population. 41% of Hispanic males voted GOP.

Seems immigration issues played a very small role in the 2014 election...

"Hispanics rank the economy as most important and put immigration much further down the list. Pew observes, “About half (49%) of Latino voters called [the economy] the most important issue facing the country, according to the national exit poll. Health care (24%) and illegal immigration (16%) followed.”
GOP already winning more Hispanics - The Washington Post

Hispanics' most important issue considered when voting:

Economy: 49%
Illegal Immigration: 16%

Doesn't bode well for Dems or any form of amnesty.

The Washington Post is reporting today that Obama will announce his amnesty program tomorrow, Thursday. Should be interesting considering how negative the country is toward amnesty for illegal immigrants at the moment. What does Obama care about the American people's wants? Middle finger salute to us all.

True. Most of the Democrats in my family are blue dogs, and almost none are happy with Obama giving amnestly to Illegals.

I honestly think he's keeping true to his word to fundamentally transform America. He's not going to let anything stand in his way--not the people, not the Constitution. There's no other explanation in my mind that makes sense.

Your super white majority is getting smaller with each election because white voters are older on average than minority voters and are gradually dying off and are being replaced by a much more diverse electorate. For example, as of 2012, 75% of voters in Georgia over the age of 65 were white.

Here's the percentage of white voters in Presidential elections since 1992:

1992: 87%
1996: 83%
2000: 81%
2004: 77%
2008: 74%
2012: 72%

The white percentage in off-year elections is higher than in presidential years, but it's falling as well:

1994: 86%
1998: 83%
2002: 81%
2006: 79%
2010: 77%
2014: 75%

Based on the existing progression, we can reasonably expect an electorate in the Presidential election of 2016 to be 70% white; a drop of 5% from this year's off-year election. The white percentage will increase to about 73% in the off-year election of 2018, but it will still be about 2% less than it was this year. By 2020, the white percentage in that presidential election will be in the high 60s. And so it goes. That's just the grim reaper at work. It will affect some states more than others, but the die is cast as far as the overall numbers are concerned.
