Since when will Americans NOT work restaraunt jobs? A lot of us started waiting and bussing tables, and washing dishes, during high school and college. Quit advancing the myth that Americans won't do physical work.

Sure we should crack down on the employers who hire illegal aliens but that alone won't do it. They have other means to support themselves by getting benefits through their U.S. born kids. Birthright citizenship needs to end for their kids thus cutting off all reason to remain here or continue to come here.

I saw this often. In most cases the entire kitchen staff could only speak Spanish and were paid under the counter. I was usually the only English speaker (I was a waitress) except for the manager (though sometimes he was illegal). I reported one of these restaurants to the department of labor.

Boy you simply jump from one impossibility to another. And while you do the situation remains the same allowing the problem to worsen. This the ostrich defense?

There is no will in Congress to pass legislation which would be vetoed if passed and found unconstitutional if signed. There is no one with standing to sue for a new look at the 14th.

The whole thought is absurd. But that is pretty much true of the whole anti view is it not?

So you fiddle away at absurdity while the situation is allowed to get worse.

Uh; what makes you think that birthright won't be stopped? It happened in Ireland of all places.

Hell; 50 years ago the POTUS couldn't live in some "white" areas near DC. Things change all the time. With more and more people wanting illegal aliens kicked out; "never say never".

The situation will get worse unless we start enforcing our immigration laws and stop talking amnesty which just encourages more to come. Amnesty in no way is the solution to stop illegal immigration. Anytime lawbreakers are rewarded anyone in their right mind would realize that it will just encourage more law breaking.

There won't be any kind of at least full on amnesty. Obama "played" the amnesty fans for fools and, with the Repubs holding both houses of Congress, ain't gonna happen now. It's over; just the illegal aliens believe their own lies and BS.

Irish citizenship is determined by law as specified in the Irish Constitution. The US is in the constitution. So the only way to modify the US is by a Constitutional Amendment.

It would be almost as hard as repealing the 2nd amendment. So not likely.

I'll keep advancing it as long as it's true. I was co-owner in a landscape company. We used to be put ads in local papers for help. Here's the results:

Hispanics: Non-stop calls
Whites: GED's mostly, best one lasted 5 months and he was a crew leader
Blacks: One guy called only for his unemployment check (had to apply to some employers)

So, you tell me skippy, where are all these "proud" americans when it comes to a$$ busting work, 6 days a week? Crickets......same goes for restaurants although not as bad. If the girl is pretty and sporting a D cup, non-stop employment.....if not, see waffle house...fact, not fiction.....

American's can get jobs in restaurants because of the turnover....but, most stick to Hispanics because they come to work every single day and work their assets off without complaints. Same reasons we liked them in landscaping...they work. Hard.

Speaking of myths, I hope you and yours quit perpetuating the myth that they work for "slave wages"....most start at $10 an hour and got up to $15/hour very, very quickly. That myth about them working for dirt is laughable. They know what they are worth and demand it. Fortunately for them, everyone in the industry is more than willing to pay it as NO one else will stick around long enough otherwise.

If I had another service business that needed manual labor, I would only source Hispanics. Period.
