Pretty much goes against all the blather being said about how they are losing their best and brightest.

Immigrants can now get Mexican birth certificates in US

Gotta keep the gravy train flowing (remittances).

The operative term here is Remittances.

Why oh why can't Mexico's government work on keeping its citizens employed and allowing them to have a wage that provides for their families? I know the government is shoddy at best and corruption is rampant, but change starts at the top.

Mexico is a very wealthy country divided by the "haves" and "have nots." Do something with your citizens and stop pushing them off to the US. We cannot afford to help our own, much less save the rest of the world (supported by our tax dollars).

I am afraid we are stuck with this never-ending cycle until we run out of money. It could happen.

The new Mexican President met with Obama and promised him that Mexico would provide whatever the President wanted for amnesty.

And here's the stumper...Mexico will provide documents to the illegals regarding proof of residency in the US.
How they will do that ? Why "rubber stamp" of course.

Mexico has everything to gain by letting their poor emigrate to the US.

Enrique Peña Nieto offers Obama help with amnesty documents - Washington Times
Mexico’s president told President Obama Tuesday that his government will supply the documents necessary for millions of illegal Mexican immigrants to prove they’ve been living in the U.S. prior to 2010, a move that will help them qualify for Mr. Obama’s recently announced deportation amnesty.

It's not just Mexico. Several countries in Latin America depend on money their illegals send back home.
$120 billion left the US in 2012. I haven't seen any updated figures.
