I don't know about shooting those who remove, burn or destroy the flag, but there should be (at the very least) a hefty fine and possible prison time.
I have a hard time understanding why it is illegal to burn a cross, but legal to burn the American flag. Both are symbols of hate.

I feel your anger. American culture should be defined by
our customs and
our traditions; not the customs and traditions of other nations. This is the United States of
America, not the United States of "Whatever."
While
we observe and celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's Day, other nations mock and ridicule us and do not celebrate or observe The Fourth of July or any other celebration of American heritage.
I don't think we should use weapons against all illegal aliens; just the ones who threaten national security. Using machine guns on
all illegal aliens would be a waste of ammo. However, I do think we should put machine gun posts manned by national guard troops at both borders, just for good measure.
And in reference to the total deportation of illegal aliens, I think you mean C-130s and C-17s; B-52s are not used for transporting anything other than bombs (which are normally a temporary payload)

I agree; the problem will only get worse if we are apathetic. That's why American customs and traditions
must take precedence over the customs and traditions of all other nations. There should be NO exceptions. None. Border security must also be a very high priority; we will never win the Global War on Terror unless our borders are secure.
And to the posters who defend the illegal aliens who hate Americans and the American culture, remember those who make the ultimate sacrifice so that you have the freedoms you enjoy, such as defending those who have no appreciation for the brave men and women who shed their blood and make the ultimate sacrifice so we may be free.
