Ofcourse that will never happen, because the viva la raza crowd are Obama's political bread and butter. If Obama does anything to seriously p.i.s.s off the far left Hispanic community, they will not come out in large numbers to vote for him in the 2012 presidential elections.

Obama can't win a second term without the Hispanic vote. Obama can't rely on the White vote to win a second term because his approval rating among Whites is currently at a record low of 39%.

Frankly, who cares about antagonizing the 'Hispanic' vote if most of 'em are pro illegal immigration? They (US citizen Latinos age 18 up) are too few in number to really make a difference----------especially with American Blacks more than cancelling the former out. Many if not most AA's are against illegal immigration.

We all ought to start caring, and soon.

It's my guess that DC will ram through some version of amnesty real soon, while they still have the numbers....the dems know full well that they will lose control come November...even they can feel the current massive unrest and discontent of the people.

Hey presto! ...20million more dem voters via amnesty. More than enough to save their slimey a$$es.

Not in this nasty recession. As it is; prejudice is growing against illegal aliens so, it would be political suicide for Congress to seriously try for amnesty for same. Remember too that even if those losers from SoB, etc. did receive amnesty, it would be several years before they would receive US citizenship----------which would be too late for November 2010.

California would again be the #5 GDP in the WORLD!!!!!

These thieves steal over $10.5 billion per year out of my state alone!!!!!!

Cali's GDP used to be bigger than that of Mexa-welfare and Central America Combined! NOW we are bankrupt supporting these illiterate, uninsured, welfare scamming, baby-machines.

Hey Karl! I've done both...well, the fields were actually in Texas picking cantelope in 100+ degree heat, but you get the idea.

This isn't about crap jobs Americans won't do. It's about crap jobs that Americans won't do if they can't feed their families doing so. I don't know about you, but I'd work any sort of employment if it meant a roof over my kid's heads and food in their bellies.

Pay them well and they will stay..why work for money where legal citizens cannot afford to live yet cannot legally tap into a social system to help them along? Minimum wage puts one just over the salary requirement for assistance, no one can sustain a household on that wage, unless here illegally and abusing our system fraudulently.
