Altamirano was arrested after a pursuit across much of the Phoenix area that ended with a crash. In arguing against bail, the prosecutor cited the fact that the suspect is in the country illegally and has a criminal record.

Most reasonable people are very aware that those who cross into the US illegally are not exactly the brightest of the bunch. In fact, most of them are not even literate in their own language, much less English. It's not the successful ones that are flocking to our borders. It's the losers, the desperate, the uneducated, the ones who can't make the cut in their own third world country that are seeking refuge in the US. The Mexican government is happy to get rid of them, even to the point of fighting the US government if we tried to deport them back to their homeland. After all, a successful third world country needs to keep a wide berth between the upper and lower classes. By allowing their unwanted to leave, and making sure they stay on the other side, it keeps the disparity gap exactly where it needs to be for the rich and powerful in Mexico. As I've said before, they laugh at the US daily.
Murdering the store clerks we don't want to murder, I guess. Right?
