Exactly. I get catering to a particular group when it comes to selling a product. However, welfare costs taxpayers yet they can't apply for these jobs unless they know Spanish. I do know Spanish but why should I have to speak it to hand over my hard earned money to them?

Yep. I am against giving any group a leg up in business, the economy, etc. when they are a drain on our society.

I'm for anyone refusing to be bilingual, and I'm also for businessmen refusing to hire those same people.

Free choice works for businessmen, too.

But these are government jobs, not private companies. There's the difference. These are taxpayer provided, private companies aren't.

Especially since it means diminishing job opportunities for most Americans who speak English our country's "de facto" national language. These business people and those who hire them have no morals or scruples or loyalty to the citizens of this country. Anything for a buck so to speak. It's despicable to pander to illegal aliens for profit.

Then those running government agencies should act as stewards of the services they provide for the people using them. They are not meant to be patronage jobs, or rewards for anyone seeking work. The man/woman who best meets every spec should be hired.

Actually it is both our government and private companies that are pandering to illegal aliens in their language and it is diminishing job opportunities for the English speaking rightful citizens of our country.

Oh I agree, I was responding to the comment about welfare workers needing to speak Spanish. I probably wasn't clear. I think everyone caters to them and it's sick. It seems more and more ads require bilingual for everything, including dentist offices, insurance companies and everything else. If it keeps going people who only speak English won't be able to get a job.

Black unemployment is quite high. Why doesn't Obama care about their job opportunities? Most blacks do not speak Spanish. It is negatively impacting whites and other Americans who don't speak Spanish either. If the left are truly the champions of the poor then that is quite hypocritical, isn't it?
