If only it were so simple.
When illegals register for a DL they also receive a voter registration form attached (per federal law). One has only to "affirm" U.S. citizenship by signing on the designated line. No other proof of U.S. citizenship is required. A couple of weeks later, the voter registration card is received via USPS.
The 'honor system' is fine for an office coffee fund, but certainly not for voter registration.

Sorry PL - once again, you are mistaken
100's are being deported each and every day. As an aside, I see bus loads on their way TO THE BORDER each day on my way to my office -
Illegals are being found, detained, and deported.
Its a whole new world out there PL
Better get on board

I find it hard to believe that 100's are being deported if I personally know dozens who have been arrested, transported to jail, fined and let go the next day.

Yes, Benicar. In CA we have motor voter. It is so easy to vote after that. That is why Hillary Clinton didn't want to say no to Elliott Spitzer in New York. The Democrats want the illegals to have the vote so they can promising them everything (as if they aren't getting it already) and then they can win more elections.
Loretta Sanchez had illegal votes that were found when the election was contested by Dornan. Half of the contested votes were thrown out but not enough to keep him in office. She is a big OBL person and now her sister is in office. Watch those two. They are very dangerous for CA.
AND GUESS WHO SIGNED THAT INTO LAW. BILL CLINTON. He's thinking ahead right?

WIth the spike of green card holders getting citizenship, it's obvious Latinos are getting overwhelmed by illegal family members being in harm's way of all these anti-illegal immigration laws. Make them pay a fine, learn english, give them citizenship. America needs these workers, there's not enough legal workers to do blue collar work. Republicans have not recovered from Proposition 187 in California denying illegal immigrants certain rights. There was a spike of Latinos gaining voting rights after the Prop passed, hurting republicans in the next elections.

There are approximately 4.7 MILLION Americans out of work at any given time in the U.S. at this point in time.
There are plenty of legal workers to replace those here illegally doing the jobs which could and should be done by Americans.

So there are plenty of people who will pick crops for dirt cheap? Oh but wait, since we're Americans we demand we get paid more. Farms: We can't pay more, we live in a capitalistic country and we want to maximize our profits, if you don't want to pick for those wages then *********. See the irony?

PL, let me ask you this: What percentage of illegal immigrants pick crops?
5%? 10%? 20? How many?
