That's a false claim. There are many unemployed Americans and not by choice. Illegals for example have flooded the construction industry, drove down wages and Americans lost those jobs. It wasn't a menial job and use to pay a liveable wage. And that is not the only industry that was taken over by illegal aliens. Both they and their greedy employers are equally guilty.

How come when the Republicans asked the Democrats to bring forth the illegals from out of the shadows the Dems said they had no idea how to find them soooo how will these people be found to mail the checks to??

This OLD canard.....the county I live in in rural northern new England is almost 100% white, and guess who does ALL the menial labor jobs ? The locals. No illegals.

Once illegals infest an area, they quickly displace Americans. For example, up until the late 90s, all the new housing construction in my area was done by men who lived in WV. They used to come here with their campers and live at campgrounds. They had to rotate out of each campground every 3 weeks when they reached the maximum time limit.
When we got infested with illegals, they displaced these hardworking men. Sleazy contractors quickly figured out that illegals were a dime a dozen and were a source of cheap, exploitable, illegal labor.
The fast food restaurants used to be staffed by high school and college students, retirees and those looking for part-time work to augment the family income (such as stay at home moms). Once we got infested with illegals, they displaced all these workers. To add insult to injury, in many places people can't even get those fast food jobs if they don't speak Spanish.
Americans want to do those jobs but they rightly expect better salaries and safe working conditions.

I agree. I was pointing out that Americans will do those jobs if the labor market is not under-cut. The lie is that they will not do those jobs.
Has it ever occurred to you just how illegals "help boost tax dollars"? It's through ID theft which leaves their victims with devastated credit ratings. So many native born Puerto Ricans have been victims of ID theft by illegals that the PR government had to take the unprecedented step of declaring all PR issued birth certificates null and void. Now when native-born PRs need a copy of their birth certificate, they have to jump through hoops to get a secured copy.
Did you also know that victims of ID theft by illegals have been arrested for crimes they didn't commit? Try imagining yourself in such a situation.
Then, there are the illegals who use fake SSNs. There is a loophole in the law that says it's okay if someone uses your SSN as long as they don't use your name with it. If someone is using your SSN right now, the SSA won't tell you about it. You only find out when the IRS comes after you for not filing a return on a job you never worked. There was a woman in CA who the IRS came after saying she owed $1 million in taxes. She was a stay at home mom who did some digging and discovered 218 illegals were using her number. MSN had a story a couple of years back about a man in TX who discovered 50 illegals were using his number. The story chronicles his attempts to get it to stop---and it isn't easy.
Then there are the illegals who are paid under the table, thus paying no taxes at all. And you think it's fine and dandy that they are going to get refunds.
Since your heart bleeds for the illegals, how about moving some into your home and supporting them?
Ok, here's my question and someone please respond if they know the answer. These people with newly issued SSN will be able to file amended tax returns for the previous 3 years in order to claim the EIC? Why exactly will they be able to amend prior year returns if in THOSE tax years they were not eligible for the EIC? By this line of reasoning people that got married this year or had children should be able to amend their prior year returns to claim various child credits and take advantage of lower tax brackets, yet these people wouldn't be allowed to do that. So why the hell should these illegals be allowed to claim credits for 3 years ago? Seems like even more B.S. to me. I honestly can't wait until this guy is out of office.
