I have a few questions about the central american illegals:
If the central american illegals were truly refugees - the way refugees like syria have gone into neighboring countries like Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, etc. - why are they bypassing so many hispanic countries which share their language and culture, many with good economies, to reach the US?
If they were so destitute and war weary, suffering from so much hardship, why aren't they simply going "next-door" to one of the local countries, instead of paying thousands of dollars, traveling treacherously for thousands of miles to reach the US?
Couldn't be because of the welfare and handouts in the US now could it?
2) If things were truly so dangerous in central america, why are the illegal aliens willingly leaving their children - the most important thing in most parents' lives - in these "war zones" while they head up to the US? If these areas were truly as dangerous as they claim, what kind of parent would willingly leave their children in such a terrible place for YEARS while they sneak into the US?
Could it be that they are lying, and that these areas are not as dangerous as they claim them to be to US border officials?
How come the leftwing media in this country is so unwilling to ask and investigate these questions?

Other counties will not make life easy on them without the proper documents.
They will be put in jail.
The illegals I know that came to this country left their children with a mother or, other family member.
They will give them a better life by mailing money. (which it is also illegal to mail cash)
Money! Because of all the Freebies they get here: Food stamps, lodging, Lawyers, free Hospitalization. Same as when the Press asked John Dillinger why he robbed backs: John responded "Thats where the money is at".
A Vet I know whose on disbility just got a deduction in the about he recieves for food stamps. He said there is only so much to go around and that the Illegal Aliens are getting a piece of it now. Wonder if it's true?
Actually, Mexico has illegal aliens of its own. Some of them eventually continue on to the U.S., but many of them labor in Mexico until they are deported.
No other country is as addicted to cheap labour and potential future voters as the U.S. is.
Witness the multiple amnesties, witness the identification and even driver's licenses made available to them, witness the educational opportunities afforded them in attempts to aid assimilation, witness the welfare and automatic citizenship granted to children born of illegals on American soil.

Actually, Mexico has illegal aliens of its own. Some of them eventually continue on to the U.S., but many of them labor in Mexico until they are deported.
Mexicao will also fine them. We really need to move up in the modern world and copy them.

Before I say anything else, they don't all share the same cultures. That's absurd. Not everything south of Texas is just a bunch of the same people speaking Spanish. Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela; they're all unique cultures with their own histories. There's some overlap, sure. They speak Spanish and are predominately Catholic. But if that's enough to say they share the same culture, then the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia are all basically the same too.
And they come here because it's easier. America, while not the most forgiving of nations, still is a better bet that much of what's south of the border.
