No, what a wonderful group of people who aren't following the rest of the herd of sheep. Inferiority Complex has nothing to do with it. Maybe, lukeache, they are descendants of Mexicans who have been here for hundreds and hundreds of years, even before there was a border.

Many are descendants of legal immigrants and many are new citizens that have come here legally and are appalled that illegals would give them a bad name.

They don't like that they have come here, jumping through all the legal hoops, waiting, respecting our laws, paying the money, THEN illegals want to jump in front of the line. They respect American, want to assimilate, and be AMERICANS that just happen to have a Hispanic heritage. That's the difference. "Familial" has become America.

It's the worst kind of "Soft Bigotry" to suggest that because someone is Hispanic, they AUTOMATICALLY MUST be in favor of illegal immigration--because that's the "Hispanic thing to do"....God help us all if this kind of thinking ever gains respectability. Blacks will be limited to espousing "Black Ideas", and whites will have to consider the "whiteness" of what they say, BEFORE they say it. The Irish will have to support drunkenness, even if they don't drink---and all Italians, if they are honest, will HAVE to admit a secret admiration for the Mafia.
