I wish that I knew the answer.

However, I do know who puts illegals ahead of Americans---all the democrats and on the republican side, Jeb Bush.

Dennis Michael Lynch is strongly against illegal immigration and going after employers who hire illegals. But I don't know if he has a good chance of winning. HOME_DML - Dennis Michael Lynch

LOL. Any candidate who tells you he is deporting illegals is just straight up lying to you.

They all know this "solution" is absolutely, utterly unworkable in real life.

Nation & World | Bush calls "massive deportation" unworkable | Seattle Times Newspaper

Dubya didn't know a whole lot of anything, but at least he knew this.

This I'll say: catching and deporting ALL illegal aliens can't be done. BUT: start going after them for keeps and, MOST will leave real fast with the few hard heads laying real low to avoid being taken out. More and more countries are playing rough with illegals in 2015 and some of those places are "Hispanic" where even other Hispanic illegals ain't safe.

No one is talking about "massive deportation". What needs to be done is this ---make E-verify the law of the land and tweak it so that it picks up things like illegals who name their anchor babies after themselves and then use said child's SSN. Once E-verify is tweaked and is the law of the land, run everybody in the work force through it to weed out the 8 million no-match SSNs. Do something to end the whole anchor baby/birth tourism baby fiasco. Make sure that illegals can't get any freebies. If illegals can't find work and the kids they birth here can't get citizenship, thus cashing in on freebies, then they will leave on their own accord. Why stay if they can't find work?

Ok, let's think this through. Here are the two scenarios:

- Illegals voluntarily returns to their homeland because of crackdown.
- Illegals stay here and risk getting caught... and gets send back to their homeland.

Notice something? The end result is the same!

So why wouldn't illegals just stay and take their chances? You are giving them no incentive by returning home on their own accord.

Bottom line: most illegals will just shrug it off. It's not like these people show any type of resilience by risking their lives to cross that border in the first place.....

Why wouldn't they be able to find work? There will always be people needing cheap labor. There will always be employers willing to overlook stuff. You can't fight demand.

There would be very few employers that would hire illegal aliens if e-verify was mandated in every workplace with stiff fines for non-compliance. The only ones who would hire them are maybe cheap Joe homeowner looking for day labor but I am sure that could be monitored somewhat also. At any rate there wouldn't be enough jobs available under that premise for the millions to remain here and it would be a deterrant for more to come. It also needs to be coupled with ending birthright citizenship for their kids so that they can't live off the welfare they could get thru them. Where there is a will there is a way. No one is suggesting that it would be 100% foolproof but taking both of the steps above would cut down illegal immigration a lot and that should be our goal.
