This is about a drunk driver killing a college track star, his illegality should have nothing to do with this. What if it was an American who killed this college track star?

Pro, the fact is he IS an illegal immigrant and by right should not be here. The girl would still be alive if our laws were enforced. He should have been deported when he committed the first crime; however Houston is a sanctuary city so the laws were not enforced.

Oh I get it, we're back to the "If" arguments. "If this illegal wasn't here, she would still be alive". Let me tell you, If a lot of things happen, thousands more people would still be alive. In my eyes, this article is equivalent to this one: SANTA ROSA / Driver charged in deadly crash

I don't care if you don't like IF arguments. If a serial killer is released from prison and goes on to kill again, people rightfully say that if the had been kept in prison he would not have been able to murder his latest victim. And they are right.

If arguments aren't arguments at all. Synopsis is right, he should have been deported the first time. But chances are he would of returned probably days later after he would of been deported.

"If this illegal wasn't here, she would still be alive". This sentence speaks louder than anything you could possibly say. Because it is the truth.

Hence the need for increased border security, so he could not return. I am continually confounded why the simplest solutions are often obfuscated in this forum by people that are pro-illegal immigration. If the man was deported, and kept out, that young lady would still be alive. It's really simple, and an argument for enforcing our laws and increasing border security. Hindsight does a lot of good if you use that knowledge to do the right thing; it's useless if we continually ignore the problem for sake of being politically correct.
