VELES, Macedonia This is the moment when Sandrine Koffi's dream of a new life in Europe ended and her nightmare of an infant lost in the Macedonian night began.

As club-wielding police closed in, the 31-year-old from Ivory Coast couldn't keep up with her fellow migrants. Not after more than a week of treacherous hikes through mud and bone-chilling rain; of leaky tents, stolen food and fitful sleep; of loads too heavy to bear.

Modern odyssey: Africans seeking new life in Europe make epic trek through Balkans' back door | Fox News

I just hope word gets out to illegal aliens that this CAN be your future, 1 of loss and being worse off than staying home.

While it's sad that the mother was separated from her child, the blame falls entirely on her. She knew that what she was doing was illegal and she had to know that she was putting her child in jeopardy.

Then she complains that she can't travel "like normal people". What's stopping her from doing so? Oh, I get it! France most likely wouldn't give her a visa because they knew that the odds of her overstaying her visa were great.

Illegals everywhere act like they have a right to break into first world countries!

Well they claim they are only trying to have a better life. What they don't understand or care about is that their search for a better life creates hardships for the rightful citizens of the country they are breaking into. So it's a selfish motive.

I bet most of them are sold a bill of goods similar to when Obama enacted DACA which was sold to the Central and South Americans as citizenship for all children who showed up on our border.

They are all selfish, the illegals. Reminds me of that stupid African guy Duncan who flew here when he had Ebola. So selfish and inconsiderate of others.
