Admittedly; in my case, 'prejudice' may have cut both ways, I am Nordic White in appearance but was born with a Hispanic sounding name.

I know in Spain the indigenous people there tend to look down upon brown New World Hispanics with contempt---------several Mestizos who visited Spain all told me that same story.

In fact: a National Geographic article mentioned about how a Latina named Ximena Cordova visiting Spain and dealing with the racism againt her-------yet, when she went to Great Britain she was treated much better. So much for WASP culture being more racist againt brown people.

Spain is White supremacist, sad to say.

Not necessarily, it is no different in several countries, i.e. an Australian going to England is not "as good as" the "original" / hell they can't hardly speak the Queen's english!, it's kind of a pecking order, Canadians are "much better than" Australians (or is it South Africans?), etc.

Same is true for Mexican Americans (US) when they return to Mexico, especially when they "flash" their wealth in the face of those Mexicans who stayed in Mexico and have struggled for their economic gains, they are looked down upon (and treated accordingly).

Not so much of a racist thing as a "pride" of their country/acomplishments?

The English/Australian thing is more cultural than ethnic I believe.

Ditto for most Americans of 'Mexican' background vs. paisanos (Mexican nationals)--------again, same ethnicity but different socio-economic categories.

As for the New World Hispanic/Spanish thing-------a lot of that is racism from what I have been told. The standard of beauty in Hispanic culture is white skin and blue eyes.

sorry but I have latio american family 3 generations! speak perfect english!
this is about legal equality not your special rights you demand. in the name of
my right to work without discrimination I pay taxes and am american.
no need to hide in a small group that only wants be under the table.

Sick of the over population that finically has become a burden on the
usa !and yes i am trying to get rid of them as well find a place to live that enforces these laws once and for all.
lastly you take yourself to seriously nothing here is an attack on you, it is about the illegal immingrant problem that is sucking the very quality of life out of the usa. what part cant you get? we have laws or else we'd be just another 3rd world counrty and be sure theres still a few of usa that demand these laws be enforced.

Cultural, for sure (them Aussies are doin awlright fer themsevles, fer a bunch of convicts (meaning convicts were their ancesters) never mind where the convicts came from

There IS racism in Mexico, although nothing like in "America". It is more a "status" type of racism, usually seen among the "well to do", in the sense that (pride) "I am of pure Spanish", or Lebonese, or German, or . . . descent (including mixes of European "blood"). A big difference between the US and Mexico is that the Spaniards coming here had no problem marrying into the existing Indian culture, creating a very tolerant (racially) population. Black, white, brown, yellow, green (did I leave anyone's race out?) get along as if there are no differences here (there aren't other than the normal differences in jobs, income, etc.)

I pay probably more taxes than you and i am not demanding anything.I am a u.s citizen ans so is everybody else in family.We didn't have to apply either we were citizens ever since we were born.So i am probably more american than you are.
