I will ask the natives the next trip there Bear, I have mentioned before that most of them speak ENGLISH. They must be fleeing Phoenix and decided they like Tucson better.

I was at the passport window at a post office yesterday -- the guy inside seemed to be from India (heavy accent too) and he had no time for these people speaking Spanish. Despite my posts here I found myself translating for them - I surprised myself.

LOL good for you  . Have you ever tried to ask someone on the phone regarding your account and have someone from Indian trying to answer your questions??

I will be polite and not castigate Tucson up one side and down the other.
Suffice to say; it has all of Phx's drawbacks and many more-----I have lived in both places.

That I agree with........it irks me to no end trying to deduce what those folks are trying to say when I am calling tech support, etc.
