No doubt about it. The only other thing I wish would happen is to make all current employees pass it. All the bills I have heard about it only mandates that new potential hires pass it.

Changing birthright citizenship has nothing to do with legal immigration.
Which is why we need to change it. Most illegals use welfare.

Yes. The 14th Amendment was about making sure freed slaves here were Americans. It had nothing to do with illegals since the original slaves were brought here without their permission and later on slaves were not allowed to brought here but had to be born here.

That's not technically true, because there was no common law or "America" when the first settlers came here, and even the subsequent settlers, they were not "illegal" because the Natives did not have laws against people living on the land, as the natives did not believe that any person could own land. There was also not a large, organized nation-state with definable boundaries and citizenship.
All of the early Americans came here legally. Some of them were welcomed by the natives, but other natives were hostile to them. Their actions were still legal though, if you want to get technical.

People who sneak across the border of our nation-state now, who are knowingly crossing a border from one sovereign nation in to another one (of which they are not a citizen) are breaking our law. They are illegal, and they prove themselves to be criminals who knowingly break the law.

Then keep it, and make it a requirement for Both Parents to be Citizens first, as it was intended.

1 American parent is enough. I say that because if some US citizen woman went out of the US and got pregnant by a 1 night stand, the kid would still be hers.

It would require ratification by 38 States, this is after Congress passes it. Not likely at this point.
