My family would be important to me but I wouldn't put them above the well being of the citizens of another country by violating their immigration laws and stealing their jobs and resources. It is not a noble move to harm others for your own gain or needs.

It has nothing to do with capitalism.

Well, it depends. Is the leader of another country inviting us over, telling us we can have the dream we've always wanted? Is he saying we'll get fed, rent/utilities vouchers, free medical and dental care? Can we live off the government of this other country comfortably without having to work, and pay us thousands more for having a baby, and they'll even pay for that? Then, when we retire, can we collect Social Security money, so we can continue to draw money that we didn't work for, that the citizens put in from their paychecks from working all their lives, and probably won't be able to get it when they retire because it will be gone?

Hmmmm, it's awfully tempting, but I was raised by parents who would probably have let us all starve to death before they would take a handout, and certainly not from the government. So, that's all we know. The idea is so foreign, no pun intended, to me, to mooch off of anyone. Personally, I would do anything to feed my kids, but I would probably work 3 jobs instead of mooching off the government. It infuriates me that we pay so much in taxes to help illegal criminals, so another country's immigration laws would be important. I would stay in my own country, and do anything there to feed my kids. Of course if I was impoverished, I wouldn't bring any children into this world. I don't understand people who have 6 or more kids when they can't even afford to eat.

Not only that but it trumps the rights of the families of the citizens of the country they are breaking into. I would never harm others or break laws to supposedly improve the lives of my own family members.

I was raised to obey the law. That said, if I were in another country illegally, it would really bother my conscience. So...I would never be in another country illegally. Period.

My family believes in being honest and not sponging off anyone. i would feel bad being somewhere I didn't belong, where I didn't speak the language and where I was taking a handout.
