The president of Mexico will visit United States and he will present to the Mexican communities an active strategy for the defense of their rights.

Finally, after more than one year in office, the president of Mexico Felipe Calderon will travel for the first time to United States. He will come with a strategy that is proposed to actively defend the rights of the Mexicans in the United States.

From February 13 to the 15 he will visit New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago. The agenda will be focused on meetings with immigrant leaders, to whom the president will present his strategy. Also it is expected that he will have meetings with U.S. legislators to analyze the possibilities of launching a new initiative for migratory reform. The visit of Calderon will occur four months after he canceled a tour to the U.S.. Back then, the suspension of the tour was decided after diverse nonconformities among common leaders regarding the insufficient activity of Mexico in the matters of migrants in U.S..

Exact location of his appearances will come later.

Hey,
For one thing he should not even be allowed into the country, espacially
if he is going to come here and tell others their rights in this country. The
clown can't even run his own country, why does he think that the illegals
are comming here. If they listen to him here there not to bright .
If this person is allowed to come here and do as stated above that
is a real slap in the face to the American people..
If this comes about I wonder how Mr. Bush will feel as this President
from another country goes into another country and runs things. Sort of
makes bush a vice president....where is the congress on this sort of
thing or are they also representing the illegals instead of the best interest
of the American people..
to all you liberals out there who think that we need the Mexicans or
any one else to keep the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA growing and
being self sufficient tell me how did we come this far with out them?
It appears to me that there are plenty of other people leaving countries
to live here, more so than anyone leaving here.
and all you Americans buying, and spending American dollars in
Mexico you do realize that you are putting billions of dollars into the
mexican economy and not into your own countries economy? there is
talk as to a ression here in the UNITED STATES,,,,what country are
you going to continue to support Mexico or the UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA???
LOVE THE U.S.A.

One of our American politicians who are vehemently against illegal immigration should make a "point" by traveling to Mexico to agitate for illegal Guatemalan immigrant rights in Mexico!

Maybe we can get Calderon to take the job in the White House. He'd probably work a lot cheaper, his relationship with the press would be better, and his 'accent' probably wouldn't be any more annoying that the guy who's NOW holding the job. We could say we "hired him on to do the Chief-Executiizin' that AMERICANS won't do...at least, not at the goin' wage"....

Haha! Well at least we can console ourselves with the fact that he won't be able to drop an anchor baby.

Maybe his loyal subjects will follow him home like the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

ROFLMAO!

That would go over SOB like a lead balloon------and, Mexico would be right to take offence @ that sort of activity.

The biggest problem here in the USA is the cabal of Libs and Neo-Cons selling out regular people.

Wouldn't that be "butting in"? Doesn't sound too 'neighborly' to me...
