Which would be an impetus to crack down on the illegals and the employers who knowingly hire 'em over citizens/green card holders even more.

"The vast majority". You are a funny one, KevK. I like how you put "I have stated all along", all matter-of-factly. I just picture someone at the other end of the computer feeling really good about themselves for "setting the record straight" or something right now.
It's easy to use buzz words like "the vast majority," or "as I've stated all along" when you have absolutely no sources to back up your allegations.

Ask people living in the border states how they feel about illegal immigration. Your answers will vary greatly than the answers of those living in Delaware or Massachusetts. That would kinda skews your demographics there eh, Kev?

Barack Obama = supports amnesty.

From what I gather, Fred Thompson is the only candidate who is against amnesty, and he came in 3rd place in South Carolina!

yeah I agree. Immigration is a non-issue
That pretty much sums it up and when John McCain wins Arizona, what will that say about this immigration issue?

I think the American population are seeing past the scapegoat of blaming illegals for failing health care, economy, bad schools, and unemployment rate..etc.

They will come up with yet another excuse.

Let me ask you this: IF say, the State of California was able to use the 6 BILLION Dollars it currently spends each year on services for illegal immigrants, do you think that it might be of some assistance to the failing hospitals in CA? Or, used perhaps to take care of the older schools? Or, raise teachers pay? etc?

What do ya think?

Btw, it doesn't matter if hillary doesn't have it wrapped up because she has the same stand on the issue as Barack Obama.
Actually she is more liberal on the issue than he is. Obama has stated he wants to do an amnesty hand-in-hand with security and increased employer sanctions and his amnesty would be more limited than hers will be. That is why she is getting all the Hispanic votes out west.

That 6 Billion is going mainly towards education and I have heard those numbers often include anchor-babies which are legal, even if there parents are not. Does that 6 also include the 1.5-2 Billion offset by illegals that do pay taxes?

Anyways, immigration pales in comparison to the war(s), healthcare and the economy. There is no way 3 million illegals in California are ruining it for the 35 million that live there and that goes for the rest of the states too. Good thing the majority of Americans are seeing that, the proof is in the polls.

Once McCain wins in AZ the attempted illegal scapegoat, will have failed.

Nope - the 6 Billion goes towards services to ILLEGALS - PERIOD - and primarily for healthcare, housing, food etc. There are education $$$'s in there also for those kids in country illegally - not anchor babies

AND, it has nothing to do with the War because - the money mentioned is all STATE TAX DOLLARS - No Federal

Sorry - the war has nothing to do with this issue whatsoever
