Is this just another "conspiracy" theory...I keep trying to find concrete information on the North American Union, and can't seem to find anything that's factual.
As with all internet sites, I would advise you to carefully scrutinize all information before deciding where you stand. These sites should provide you with enough information to begin to pick apart the "North American Union as a conspiracy" pundits. There is just too much information to the contrary.

Borders are being destroyed as we have this conversation, divisions between countries and cultures are becoming ashes of a dying past.
All changes bring suffering and angst because we get attached to the ways of the past, yet change is the only constant of this world.
Is only human nature to try and fight against the futile, yet nothing can stop the inner workings of the universe, or the force of nature.
We can engange into a useless fight and waste our time and energy there, along with the best of our lifes, or we can get actively involved into a beautiful change that will create a new world.
All changes are hard, but when they are faced everything is easier.

But you see, that is so easy for you to say, sitting in a country that only stands to gain and addressing our country that only stands to lose. Sure, it would be great for any of the countries south of our border (I know you skip around in them all) for us (U.S.) to open our borders and opportunites to them. But, having as many illegal aliens in our country as we do, it is easy for us to see how much we will lose by opening our border. Although it sounds poetic to say "embrace change" the harsh reality is that doesn't work when the change we are supposed to embrace lowers our standard of living.

Human beings are territorial by nature. Claiming that we aren't is the only thing artificial here.
This is a very concerning issue that our candidates or the media just don't talk about. Other then, writing our congress, what would really help to get it across that "WE THE PEOPLE HAVE A VOICE" and illegal merging is not what we want.
I see a lot on the Internet about the highway. If you talk to people you would be surprised at the amount of people who don't know it's happening or say "That Would Never Happen!!" little do people know it's HAPPENING.
Is there a place we can ALL meet and bring attention to this insane plan. I'm amazed at how ALL 3 countries are keeping this a "BIG SECRET", but in all actuality it's right there in plain view. The minutemen are trying to bring attention and they are just labeled "VIGILANTES" what's up with that!!!
We need to stop being sheep and stop this before we are one nation with MEXICO think we are working for the poor and rich now, we haven't seen nothing yet. Any one got a plan????
The only one really talking about it is Lou Dobbs. He reports on it pretty much every week.
The NAU does concern me. At its core, the NAU basically allows corporations and businesses to destroy middle-class jobs by hiring people who would be willing to work for half the wage American workers would. It's the Bush Administrations answer to other nations stealing our industries. We can't compete with other nations when they use prison labor, or child labor, or don't pay their workers overtime or benefits. So instead Bush wants to open up the borders and flood America with cheap Mexican labor. This should be no surprise to anyone. Bush is very big business oriented.

A lot of countries south of the border are way stronger than what you think, specially Mexico, Brazil and Chile, for sure every side would loose something, but there would also be benefits about it, lets do the following give me some time and I'll think what good things could come from this.
it doesn't have to lower the standard of living of no one that's for sure otherwise what would be the point.
however imho the problems that are eroding America's standard of living have more to do with other things, like the current war, cooporate interests and evil forces in the government than with illegal immigration, for sure in all fairness illegal immigration creates problems too, but it's not the only cause

Was the Soviet Union a successful merger of different countries with different peoples? I'd like to see actually one example of the type of merger you're talking about.
So -- do we get rid of the White House and Los Pinos rules over the great borderless NAU? Will the common language of this great unified place be Spanish?
Or do you envision some kind of co-ruled nation -- with both the Mexican government and the USA government having a say? Do we toss out the USA Constitution and take Mexico's? Or are both Constitutions tossed out and replaced with that NAFTA document?

Remember that: Mexico; if push comes to shove, your culture will be assimilated into US/Canadian society------which would be the death knell of the Spanish language, etc.
