I find this a bit hard to believe. I'm no fan of him or the Bush family but how could someone live for years here and not speak English? How could she communicate with the other family members? Assuming this is true it shows that this is someone we don't want as First Lady. I'll be voting against Jeb anyway as I hate him more than anyone else running on both sides. If he's the Republican nominee I'll vote Democrat, even if it's Hillary (who's not much better). I encourage people to vote Republican in the primaries to make sure he is defeated.
The vast majority of people in Sweden for example, have a way better grasp of the English language than Jeb Bush's so called "U.S citizen" wife.
I know people who have gone to Sweden and other Scandinavian countries and said you can get around there without knowing their language since most speak fluent English.
I've always wondered about Columba Bush and why she was never seen, let alone never talked to the press. If Jeb wants to be president (and I hope he never will be president!), Columba will have to accept that she will have to face the press and answer questions in English. If she should become first lady (please, no!) she will be in the spotlight in a really big way and much will be expected of her.
All that aside, when Jeb said that illegal immigration is "an act of love", right then and there I knew that he would never get my vote!
