Tyson sued over illegal immigration issue
Tuesday, January 30, 2007
By Bill Poovey, The Associated Press

Wal-mart supercenters that have the grocery departments had quit using tyson months back... maybe they (wal-mart) got wind of the use of illegals and pulled tyson because of it?
Hey chicken prices kept going up.. regardless of hiring illegals..
Illegals got paid less.. but that did not decrease the price of chicken.. only thing it did do.. is CUT more Americans out of jobs, ONCE AGAIN!

I hope Tyson loses millions and becomes the poster boy for illegal employee hiring practices.
As said before the prices never reflected the labor cost savings.
Same with construction. Never saw any home sell for less because of labor costs savings. Did see a lot of new Ford and Chevy trucks at the construction sites though…..

Not quite, Arizona Bound . . .
Employing ILLEGALS increased Tyson's profits which went into the pockets of management!
Hopefully, this lawsuit will set the trend for future "attacks" on these scumbag empoyers!

A win would be amazing, but probably unlikely.
If they (the employees suing) DO win, it would probably be 10X more effective than any "employer sanctions law" by the government, because trial lawyers are much more vigilant, and would foam at the mouth for the potential damages. Employers would get in line REAL fast for fear of being sued.
And trial lawyers would redeem themselves for conservatives everywhere, lol.

That's the way I see it too if they are to lose.

I hope Tyson loses it's shirt. They should get hit with damages that stagger the company and cause other companies that hire illegals to stop and take notice.

I will never buy anything Tyson, mostly due to the very large contribution they made to Bill Clinton's campaign the second term. Costco is nothing but Tyson and it will be interesting to see if they put something else in. We will continue to boycott.
