The good news is Silver Line Window Factory in New Brunswick, NJ fired 230 illegal aliens when an audit found their SS numbers to be fraudulent.

The bad news is THE TEAMSTER'S UNION is suing to get them reinstated, "or at the very least, get them a severance package."

The article.

If I applied for a job some company and lied that I was a Harvard and Wharton School graduate and they found out, would anyone be suing to get me reinstated? Would anyone be suing to get me a severance package?

Other than that, it is a great article, explaining how the federal government is FINALLY cracking down on employers that hire illegals.

That may backfire against the Teamsters--------badly.

Unions nationwide have been huge supporters of illegal aliens for quite a while now. They recognized years ago that it was a nice source of untapped revenue and began to recruit heavily in industries that are known to hire illegal aliens.

Additionally, union reps frequently go into these businesses and actually show illegals how to fit in and keep their heads low. I can't find the link now but I remember reading a while back that up in Northern California a Hispanic union rep was having a meeting on a companies property (in Spanish) and he was caught teaching people how to register to vote. He defended his actions by saying he had no idea whether or not the employees were illegal or not.

Illegal Aliens in good paying union jobs? Just where is that fainting icon? That is just so wrong on so many levels. Shame on the Teamsters, I hope it frys their butts.

Except it doesn't say that at all.

The 'government' is not cracking down on employers.

This employer used undocumented workers for years and the article says not one thing about the employer being fined or punished for it's illegal hiring.

Make no mistake, the government is not cracking down on employers.
.
..

(.......and if you read the article, you'll see the government didn't catch anything, the only reason these workers aren't still working is another company bought out the old owners.

The government had nothing to do with any crackdown. )
.
..

The crimes of the employer continue to go unpunished, .....the companies committing the crime, ..get a free pass.

.
..

Not only that -- if there aren't 230 real Americans, then the employers might have to resort to sponsoring a legal immigrant -- someone who has been waiting for years to come here and who wants to be an American.

Massive illegal immigration is not only bad for citizens -- it's bad for legal immigrants because then employers figure they can bypass sponsoring someone to come here and taking financial responsibility for that immigrant.
