Developers, Entrepreneurs, and investors are probably no longer interested in Arizona. The consumer is going to shoulder the costs.
Oh well............so; a bunch of 'Yuppies' will actually have to do their own yard work, etc.

blah...blah...blah Same old, same old and yet, you have proven nothing because it is not happening.

But, I am sure that people won't mind paying more for services and such because things will be much better once the illegals are gone. Another thing, and I know that you fail to realize this, the prices were not low because of illegals at all. If they were then the houses that they built, quite shabbily too, would have been cheaper. Get a different rap and try to post about something you can prove or that you know for a fact.

Well, I'd kind of like to know how YOU can KNOW for a fact that the houses are NOT cheaper because they were built by illegals. Maybe they would have been even more expensive. Any way YOU can PROVE what you said?

Well, one way is to look at builders that do not use workers in the country illegally versus those that do.

And it seems the prices on a per sq ft basis are pretty stinkin' close

Well my husband ran our own residential business or ten years. When the illegals showed up and the builders hired them, the pricing went down for their work, because they were still making money by paying the illegals half of what they were the citizens. Yet the builders continued to keep the prices the same even though the price of work had gone down. We knew builders that continued to put their profit percentage on top of the subs work, and pocketed that money. No the houses would be the same with or without, the amount of profit however would drop, which of course we know they DO NOT want.

Got that right. I know builders that refuse to hire subs that hire illegals. Same prices, better quality home.

Illegals ONLY benefit Employers. No one else.

I have heard too many horror stories on the shoddy work that illegals do on building houses. Many do these jobs without prior work exp, so they get on the job training which results in mistakes and errors.

They just do the job, no attention to detail. My husbands side job is fixing their mistakes. Let's just say, he could make a full time job out of it. You would think after doing it over and over they would get it, but they just do not care about the job just the pay.
