Two judges who dealt a significant blow to President Barack Obama’s executive actions on immigration last month will again play key roles in deciding whether the controversial programs are legally sound.

From the article:

David Leopold, a veteran immigration attorney and former president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, said the presence of both Elrod and Smith on the appeals panel indicates that the Fifth Circuit is likely to rule against the administration again — raising the chances that this case would get pushed to the Supreme Court, perhaps during the heat of the 2016 presidential race.
“The merits are broader, but we know exactly where this court is going. Smith’s and Elrod’s opinion pretty much mirrors what Judge Andrew Hanen did, absent the political diatribes,” Leopold said Monday. “Unfortunately for the GOP, if this case goes to the Supreme Court, the Court will have to fix it and the GOP will be facing yet another national loss which will be bad for them politically and further tarnish their brand with Latinos.”

---------------------------------
I'm so tired of hearing about how all Latinos won't vote for republicans (or any candidate) who are against illegal immigration.

First of all, while most illegals are Latinos, ICE has deported illegals back to 189 different countries. Yet, for example, no one wrings their hands over losing the Irish vote, as I once read that there are an estimated 50, 000 illegal Irish here. And what about the East Indian vote? Again, I recently read that there are an estimated 450,000 illegal East Indians here. I could go on and on with more examples but I have to wonder why the words "the Latino vote" have politicians shaking in their boots. Last election, the Latino voting bloc amounted to 10% of the vote, which doesn't amount to a hill of beans---and not all of that 10% voted democrat.

Anyway---let's hope that there never will be another mass amnesty for illegals!

Again, this is the new so-called progressive world we live in. Demonize those of us including our politicians who are for the rule of by pulling the race card and threatening to withhold their votes for them. I am also sick that so many Latinos think that their ethnic group is above our immigration laws.

The reason our politicians are pandering to them is because they are the group demanding amnesty, are the most vocal about it, they are the largest group here illegally and they are the largest minority group in this country. You are also correct the Latino vote only makes up 10% of the electorate so it is a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of us. So it makes no sense to pander to them.

I dread it if this makes it way to the Supreme Court based on the rulings they have made thus far this week on other social issues. I'm with you I hope we never see another amnesty. When does this nonsense end?

Excuse my French here, but I never holdback, believe in being honest. It will never ever end, and this is quite sad. Until we get someone in office, who ain't no pu--y. And will not pander to them no matter what.

We need someone in office who is not afraid to stand up to them or Mexico! but it seems those who tell it like it is, will have hell to pay.

Yep, look at Trump. Fortunately, getting dropped by NBC won't affect him at all, much to the chagrin of the left.

Hey guess what, it will end up making ZERO difference in the number of illegals here, and to add to that even if a Repubs somehow were to win the Whitehouse they will make the same difference. ROTFLMAO!
