A crackdown on document fraud has sent the number of driver's licenses issued to illegal aliens in New Mexico plunging by 70 percent, while revealing that the state likely issued tens of thousands of bogus licenses after becoming the first state to adopt the controversial policy a dozen years ago.

Now the voters in NM need to wake up. They elected Susana Martinez as governor, which was an excellent move. Then they go and ruin it by voting in state legislators that are pro-illegal immigration. In other words, the voters have made it really tough for Governor Martinez to properly do her job.

You can't use a New Mexico Driver's License as I.D. to get on an airplane or into a Federal Building.
TSA won't accept the NM Driver's License because it is not in compliance with the 2005 Real I.D. Law that was passed in Congress to combat fake I.D.'s by Terrorists.

It's a mystery why NM voters are willing to have a sub-standard Driver's License that won't even allow them to get on an airplane.
