God bless you. United we do stand and divided we will fall.

I have to ask those who did climb the ladder of success here if they really want to see more tax dollars ripped out of their hands to give to those coming in now, many who do not have the same work ethic. It is the demanding of things that gets my goat as well.

Excellent post

I don't understand why we (the GOP) keeps shooting ourselves in the foot by attacking Hispanics and making them the scapegoats of everything that goes wrong today. Hispanics are the future, how can we wall ourselves off from the future?

MR TRUMP TEAR DOWN THIS WALL (this wall of ignorance and fear)! Jeb Bush was right, we will never win through spreading fear and paranoia.

Here we go again!

I've asked you before who in the GOP is "attacking Hispanics and making them the scapegoats of everything that goes wrong today" --- and the only thing you can come up with is "Steve King" and "Louie Gohmert". I say at least King and Gohmert get it when it comes to illegal immigration.

My family and I have never been made to feel like "scapegoats".

What do you mean "Hispanics are the future"? Elaborate, please.

I can't understand how you can support illegal immigration when Puerto Ricans have been badly hurt by it. You claim to have an affinity with Puerto Ricans yet you gladly throw them under the bus.

How is "fear and paranoia" being spread? Again, elaborate, please.

You apparently don't know that in the past, ICE has deported illegal aliens back to 189 different countries. 189 different countries covers every race, religion and ethnicity. I've NEVER heard anyone say something like, "Send the Hispanic illegals packing and let the non-Hispanic illegals stay here."

Are you still calling yourself a republican? If so, you may want to switch parties. Think about it.

Hispanics are the future?! The last big "minority" that tried that bit were the Germans 100 years ago. WW 1 broke out and ', being "German" was no longer a good idea here in the US so those people started becoming full on "American" real fast.

I truly think the same thing will come down with Hispanic people: many of those who are US citizens will start playing DOWN their ethnicity and try to hide behind being "Italian", American Indian or even Black for their own safety.

You'll never get a straight answer. No one is using "Hispanics" as a scapegoat for anything but illegal aliens, Hispanic or otherwise are a huge problem in this country and facts aren't scapegoating. They are just what they are.....facts. The only way that Hispanics are going to be the future of this country is if illegal immigration from south of our border is allowed to continue. That's certainly nothing to brag about.

I have no doubt whatsoever that people who came here legally resent the fact that the red carpet's being put out for illegals. They did the right (and often onerous) thing. And the idea that some politicians pander to the assumption that they accommodate illegals must be a slap in the face to those who went through that process.

"I know right" what a oxymoron in saying that line. Immigrants are those who immigrate to this Country and come here legally. They show their pride in being American and have embrace our culture. Where as we have illegals who break laws, and break apart families, commit crimes and are selfish.

Illegal's are criminal's no matter how you choose to look at it. Breaking the law is still consider wrong.

No pun intended, humor, no Chit Sherlock. Good answer and true.

My daughter has a lot of Hispanic Friends, younger well late twenties, and younger and they tell her they are so embarrass by the actions of Hispanics who come to this Country illegally, are demanding and cause trouble. They tell her all the time how they feel.

Some of these younger people, tell my daughter, they cannot even stand the site of illegals, not kidding here. Or other Hispanics, who condone the actions of illegals in this Country.

What does it say, that the Dem base, preys on the poor voter base, not very much does it. Has to change.
