That law definently isn't going to change in 2008, Congress took a month to pass a stimulus check bill earlier this year. There is to much partisanship in Washington.

every one talks about anchor babies if the parents are illegaly here, what if the parents are legal aliens and get a baby. I know a couple from Czech Republic who were here for over a year on a visa and got a baby in the USA, what will happen to them. They are legally here and get a baby who is a US citizen I guess. Does any one know, I always wondered.

The Czech couple's child is definitely a US citizen.
