Outside of El Salvador, the USA and possibly Spain......where else are they? Somehow I doubt that MS-13 would last in Mexico

Pretty much all over Latin America. They've actually extended their membership from just Salvadorians to any Latino's. Their main rival is the mainly Mexican/Chicano notorious LA gang, 18th street. So I have no clue how that pans out since the main reason for their birth was because of Mexicans/Chicanos in the first place.

Gangs; despite their (sometimes) racist/ethnic rhetoric oftentimes will 'integrate' if either their survival is at stake and/or money is to be made.

The Aryan Brotherhood used to be open to White people of 'Irish' heritage back in the 1960's but widened their membership to include most 'Anglos'

The Nazi Lowriders are a 'White' Supremacist gang associated with the A-B but up to half 'Latino' ethnicity is acceptable for membership.

Even the Crips have been known to join forces with the A-B against other Black gangs with younger, crazier members.

Politics make strange bedfellows.

There are American Indian gangs yet Mestizo Hispanics are usually not welcome despite the same basic ethnicity.

This reminds me of what one of my teachers told me. The place where I live used to be some sort of Klan headquarters. This was a few years back maybe 40-60 years ago. Actual 'Chicanos', children of Mexicans joined the Klan. Why? They'd rather join them than beat them. It was easier for them to associate with them because back then, my town was basically a whole bunch of farmland. They'd be doing similar work their parents did back in Mexico. What is also interesting children of these 'Chicanos', took part in the flag protests at my school telling other 'Chicanos' to go back. Simply ironic.

The problem is -- many immigrants are not coming here because they respect the laws of this nation or wish to ever become American.

Immigration is good -- if immigration is limited to those who truly wish to become American, not just for the dollars, but because they share the values of this country, love this country, want to become a true part of this country. Those who have the desire -- and also the ability to assimilate into American culture.

And yes, I mean the fact that someone is here ILLEGALLY speaks volumes to what regard they hold the law. They only follow laws that they feel like obeying and ignore ones they think are unreasaonble. There chidlren grow up in families whose experience revolves around lies, deception, and cheating, are we surprised they turn out the way they do?

How did I turn out? I'm a child of recent immigrant parents as well. As George Lopez said, "I'm here ain't I"?

At best, their parents are setting the example they can break the law and not be caught.

Worse...the mentality they learn is they don't have to follow a law if they don't agree with it. They don't agree that they can't just leave Mexico or El Salvador and move here and use fake SSNs and IDs.

So they don't agree with weed being illegal, they don't agree with laws banning illegal guns (I'm talking things like assault rifles not handguns)...or laws against arson, drug posession, rape, murder.....in some ways illegal immigration is a "Gateway" crime....pun intended!

Are you the spokesman for all children of illegal immigrants now? you can sure bet your A** that millions of Americans don't think weed should be illegal. There are a lot of Americans who think automatics assault rifles shouldn't be banned. If immigration is a gateway to crime, what about the immigrants from ellis island?
