The U.S. and a few other countries offer citizenship to anyone born on their soil. The United Kingdom and Australia abandoned this practice in the 1980s after being abused by immigrants for many years.

I believe the Canadians also put a prompt stop to 'birth tourism' once they saw what was going on. The people of Canada spoke out and that was the end of it. This is a general comment. It applies to this thread and any other thread that attempts to show harm done by illegals.

I, personally, don't give a damn whether illegals harm our society or are the best thing since sliced bread. I DON'T CARE! What I care about is our sovereignty as a self-governed people. It is up to "We the People" as to who can and can't cross our borders. We DON'T NEED A REASON to keep people out. If we say you can't come in, YOU CAN'T COME IN. PERIOD! It doesn't matter to you, the foreigner, what our reasoning is. You, the foreigner, HAVE NO SAY IN THE MATTER.

This is what riles me the most. Call me a racist. I DON'T CARE. I am most certainly the furthest thing from a racist you could find, but IT DOESN'T MATTER. If "We the People" decide we want to restrict immigration on racial grounds, THAT IS OUR RIGHT. (If you don't believe me, you need to research US immigration history.)

Of course, we do no such thing, but as I stated, IT DOESN'T MATTER. We, as a nation of laws, can enact any laws we see fit, according to the Constitution. Our Constitution DOES NOT extend to any country outside the US, its territories and possessions.

If you knock on my door, I can refuse entry FOR ANY REASON. Likewise, We the People of the United States of America can refuse ANYONE WE WANT, FOR ANY REASON WE WANT.

Sovereignty. It's all about sovereignty. Don't like it? Tough. GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE UNLESS YOU RESPECT MY RULES REGARDING ENTRY.

those who have protested in OUR streets.. holding mexican flags... (illegals) first would have to be able to READ our consitution..
Then they would have to comprehend.. what "we the people" means..

Racist? I dare you to tell a Spaniard that he is not White. Genetically speaking; most Spaniards/Portuguese are more closely related to most English, Irish, Scots, and Welsh people than to Mexicans.
