E.U. nations pull welcome mats for migrants, imposing new restrictions (2015, visas)

ZAGREB, Croatia — European nations once friendly to refugees abruptly yanked their welcome mats Thursday, as Germany considered slashing its benefits and Croatia announced it was closing most of its road links with Serbia “until further notice.”
The German measures would overhaul asylum codes to stem the massive flow of migrants into Europe, scaling back the generous policies that have made Germany a beacon for desperate war refugees and economic migrants pouring out of the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
I DON'T blame the Europeans saying "ENOUGH" and, closing the door to those "refugees". To be fair; if it was mostly families making a run for it, I might have more sympathy. I DON'T have sympathy for the scads of fighting age young dudes trying their luck in Europe and, that's what MOST of those people are, young guys.
It will force the EU oo rid the World of this scourge. The US and the UN could have a anther Desert Storm .This mass Immigration to Europe is only a Band-Aid to the solution.
I don't blame the EU for stopping migrants we should do the same here.
The US has millions of illegals coming across the border mostly unchecked but most of them are truly coming here for a better life, jobs while a smaller percentage are coming to sponge off the state and go on welfare.
In the EU it is almost a guarantee that amongst those "migrants" are actual terrorists and that is a ticking time bomb situation.

Illegal aliens coming here for a "better life" NEED to just leave. Their kind are nothing but trouble. The US has the right to "pick and choose", if that pisses off an alien, oh well. It should be: what can a legal alien offer the US, NOT what we can do for them.

I don't have a problem with someone coming to America by jumping the border or over staying their visa as long as they don't demand handouts. We will always have illegals even if the Dems get their way and give the millions that are here amnesty. We need migrants to pick veggies and do other things that Americans won't do.
The biggest problem with some illegals are they demand handouts and do nothing for society but break our laws. The biggest problem with our Gov is the illegals have the Presidents ear and he is trying to appease them instead of deporting.
Ideally if an illegal alien is caught committing a crime he needs to answer for that crime then be sent packing. He is detained and turned over to ICE and deported NOT turned back on the streets like he is today.

Uh; even if ALL illegal aliens went away tomorrow, food prices would jump a bit but, would settle back down real fast. Too; less than 5 percent of illegals are doing farm which leaves MOST of their kind living in cities undercutting Americans, especially Chicanos and Black people.

If they want a better life, let them change the things in their Country that keep them from having a better life. They can get rid of the corruption and Drug Cartels, and take their Country back. We had to do it.

I am so sick of the claims that illegals are only doing jobs that Americans won't do. Are you not aware of the unlimited visas for legal, foreign crop pickers? It's not up to you or I to decide which laws we don't care about. It is our obligation to follow and respect our laws. Perhaps you might bone up on the hazards of illegal immigration and maybe then you will care. They aren't only a problem if they are getting handouts. There is much more to this issue than that. For one, they are either using a stolen ID to work here or they are committing tax evasion by working under the table (yes, these are crimes) and taking jobs from Americans by working for less. Their social costs are enormous also. Please don't blur the lines between legal immigrants and illegal aliens either. Our country was not founded nor built on the latter.
