I am sick and tired of the media explaining the illegal alien problem using emotional messages. If they show an illegal alien on television news they will always show the ones who are top of their class, pretty, young, warm and wonderful people. They will tug at your emotions and tell everyone they just wanted a new life. So it's OK, then?
Yes, there are some talented and wonderful people who some how made it to America and are illegal aliens. They want what every one in the world wants- a better life.
BUT there is not room for everyone in the world who wants a better life and are living in poverty and want a part of the American Dream. We can not look at individual situations and make an exception because they did well in school or cry for the camera. There might be a billion people on earth who would do the same and cry for the camera and try to get us to make an emotional decision on a tough issue.
Yes, the lamestream media loves to write sob stories about illegal aliens. If you ever look at the articles that allow for comments, be sure to read them. You will find that the vast majority is also sick of these sob stories.
We, as a nation, can't take in the entire third world without descending to third world status ourselves. In addition, we don't have unlimited buildable land or potable water.

I agree. The city mayors that welcome illegals with open arms (mostly Democrats) want them no where near their neighborhoods. The Washington bureaucrats that welcome illegals with open arms (mostly Democrats) want them no where near their posh neighborhoods. When we had that wave of Central American children walk across our southern border where were the lines of Democrats ready to take them in? Nancy Pelosi was cheer leading for the Central American kids. Why didn't she take a bunch of these kids? Many of these kids could have been accommodated at her estate or at her vineyards.

I wonder how many illegals Pelosi employs to pick her grapes. Perhaps she is hoping those Central American children will come and take a low-paying job in Napa when they're old enough. I can't take these legislators seriously when they rail about corporations vs. the common people when the majority of our senators are millionaires.
Recently, on a local SF Bay Area radio talk show, the SF City Attorney, when discussing the illegal who killed Kate S in our "sanctuary city," stated it was an accident and faulted the federal employee who left the gun in his car. No mention of the 5 felonies and 7 deportations of the illegal alien who shot Kate. Talk about soft-pedaling a huge problem.
