You think an illegal living here for 5 plus years would just leave?? You guys also forget any immigration plan has to go through Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi controlled congress. Good luck to romney trying to get his bill through.

People, I just had to close a thread because it was getting out of hand with personal attacks and teetering on the edge on almost every post.

This thread appears headed in the same direction, as I can see tempers are flaring in several threads.

CALM DOWN and discuss the issues rationally or there will be a lot of infractions and closed threads before the day is done.

Yep, just remember how "successful" the Reid and Pelosi controlled Congress was in shoving amnesty down the throats of the American people last year.

Yes, I do think they will leave. Voluntarily or otherwise. Romney expects them to follow the exact same procedures anyone who wishes to emigrate to the US is expected to follow. They go to the back of the line behind everyone who has been patiently waiting, sometimes for years, to do things the right way. There is simply no reason any special exception should be made for illegal aliens.

I'm impressed Romney just didn't reach over and smack the dog crap out of him. I think I would have.
You are SO right on...gotta give you reps! I too, while watching the debate wondered how Romney could keep his cool under such obvious spin from McCain.

If the McCrapper is the next president which is most likely, expect amnesty bill after amnesty bill. With so many illegals already here it might make sense to let 'em become citizens and contribute to the economy. McCrapper would be a two term president so the lesser of two evils might be Clinton. At least with her she'll be gone after 4 yrs and we can finally get a decent president.
