It is not "amnesty." It is earned legalization and it is long overdue.

Pardon me? We owe those insolent illegal alien criminals nothing outside of a one way trip back to their countries--------and by rights the US authorities should seize their assets as well.

Why should we reward a bunch of lawbreakers for their actions?

If nothing else------------such an attitude is a slap in the face of those people who came here legally.

What are you going to do with the next 20 million illegal aliens that show up wanting their 'earned legalization' aka amnesty?

Excellent point. You could probably answer your own question, by simply referring to the LAST amnesty a few years back....what happened as a result of THAT one?

Amnesty doesn't produce gratitude or 'closure', it produces demands for still MORE...and BIGGER..amnesties. And if illegal immigration is seen as "earning" one's legalization, what about successful burglars? If they manage to 'keep' your property for a few weeks, and become 'used to having it', does that mean they've 'earned' it, and now it's 'theirs'? Imagine what would happen.

It is a crazy notion isn't it? It makes as much sense as these squatters that sneak into foreclosed homes and then wail when they are forced to leave when the house is sold.

And the whole breaking up families thing, take the kid with you. Problem solved.

And the pro (Hispanic) illegal alien apologists will likely call you a racist White supremacist despite you being counted as Apache.

Hypocrites.

What?, When?, Where?......, these people are already part of our reality, no need for further adjustments, same thing with the previous amnesty.

What the previous amnesties taught us is that rewarding criminals only encourages more to do the same. Now if a bank robber robs a bank and you let him keep the money doesnt this encourage others to do the same?
Deport them after taking all their assets as a penalty.
