Don't believe it? So many native born Puerto Ricans have been victims of ID theft by illegals that the Puerto Rican government had to take the unprecedented step of declaring all PR issued birth certificates null and void. Now if a native born PR needs a copy of his/her birth certificate, s/he has to jump through many hoops to get a secured, certified copy.

Besides, the lamestream media hates to publish articles about Americans being victimized by illegals. They prefer to publish sob stories about illegals.
We've been "infested" with illegals for years. This isn't a new problem like you seem to think it is. I lived in SoCal when I started college... Trust me I'm aware of how many immigrants were coming in and how many weren't legal. That was YEARS ago.

Yes, it was but now it has reached critical mass and the problem needs to be fixed.

I've never said that it is "a new problem". As Oldglory said---and I agree---it has reached critical mass. It's time for our government to stop looking the other way. Illegal aliens are parasites who take far, far more than they give.

Actually (from a numerical standpoint) it decreased for quite awhile as our country struggled after the recession and even now it hasn't reached critical mass (at least when looking at the numbers).

However mass hysteria based on what people want you to think versus the reality of a situation are two entirely different things. It seems many let their emotions run and make their decisions for them instead of looking at the numbers.

Who is "emoting"? Do tell.

If you haven't noticed that we've reached critical mass when it comes to illegals, then you haven't been paying attention. For years, it was the border states that had the most illegals. Today, there isn't a state that doesn't have a large illegal alien population. When we have 8 million no-match SSNs in the work force, yes, that's critical mass. When the Puerto Rican government had to take the unprecedented step of declaring all Puerto Rico issued birth certificates null and void because so many PRs have been victims of ID theft by illegals, yes, that's critical mass.

How you can confuse "facts" with "emoting" is beyond me.

One fact is certain---no illegal aliens have any business being here and they all need to leave. Period.

As for the "numbers", you are aware that no one (not even the federal government) has any idea as to how many illegals are here? For years, they've been saying 11 million. However, the reality is that everyday, illegals sneak across the border or overstay their visas. It's a very simple deduction to realize that the number has to be a lot higher than 11 million.

We have reached critical mass when communities all over the country have been destroyed by illegal immigration. People who don't know any better just assume that illegals are all living in slums in the cities. However, they are moving into working class and middle class communities, creating flophouses. Do you realize what the negative consequences of those actions are?

Well, what would "critical mass" be to you? 40 million? 50 million? Do tell.

Like BOS2IAD said: MOST illegal aliens are near the US Mexico border. It ain't racism, it's just truth.

I've lived around here most of my life and have def seen things get worse, MUCH worse. Especially since the 1990's in Phoenix.

illegal aliens are crossing in far reduced numbers the last several years, as Mexico's economy got better, and after the Great Recession, they do not trust ours. That will not change. I would expect more US based employers to add plants there, and that helps both nations.

Except they can estimate well by the total $ transferred back to Mexico, and it has been either flat or down the last few years.
