If Murguia is truly concerned about hate speech, maybe she should look to one of her own; Jose Angel Gutierrez.

What people don't seem to understand is that this is not a debate about immigration. It is a debate about the way the media uses spin tactics to inject there opinions into their broadcasts. Murguia refused to let Dobbs turn the debate into something other than it was. The message she brought was not about immigration but the way CNN, MSNBC and FOX have given airtime to hateful and dangerous organizations that have no business spreading there hate speech on a public forum. This is not a debate about the 1st amendment, it's a debate about legitimacising messages that encourage violence againsts an ethnic group. Dobbs proved once again that he IS part of a media elite that pushes their agenda by avoiding honest and responsible debate. Bravo to Murguia for not letting him pull her into it!

Oh, but it has EVERYTHING to do with 1st Amendment rights. How did La Raza “The Race” become arbiters of what can and cannot be articulated, or what constitutes hate speech? According to La Raza; the term “illegal alien” is hate speech. Are only the pro-illegal media to be granted the right to freedom of speech? The networks are well aware of the precedent such censorship would engender. Accordingly, they have ignored her nonsensical ranting.
