Default PW illegal crackdown creates "unwelcome spirit" claims religious leaders

Pr. William Religious Leaders Say Crackdown Is Divisive - washingtonpost.com

I'm a christian and i say if there is anyone creating an unwelcome spirit it's the illegals and their supporters. I thank God when law is rightly enforced and Prince William, VA is enforcing well.

"Unwelcome spirit?" Uh...yes...that's the problem. Do these church leaders allow Satanists into their congregations? To preach Satanism? Such would be "unwelcoming," no?

"Divisive?" Well...duh! The law is divisive by nature. It's designed to divide the lawbreakers from the law-abiding.

*smacks head*

These apologists really need some new excuses. I hear there are some Hollywood writers looking for work.

there should be a LIMIT to what a church group can do
and say when it comes to a political agenda. if they want
to stay Tax-free business.. they need to button it up!

Haboring an illegal is a felony.

the church's should NOT be in the business are harboring criminals.

The church leaders stated a willingness to "work constructively" with county officials and urged them to respond to public concern with legislation that upholds "the dignity and rights of all people."

They didn't say they think they should support illegal activity, they don't say they will defy laws, or provide sanctuary.

I think it should suprise no one that religious leaders feel this way. But I also think that they need to be very cautious about getting into political issues and certainly calling for people to ignore the laws.Every dangerous indeed.

Good ol' coded rhetoric.

"Work constructively" = work to recind the law

"Public concern" = illegal hispanic concern

"The dignity and rights of all people" = the perceived right to ignore immigration law
