From what I understand though Carson is also an amnesty fan.
My son had his identification stolen by an illegal immigrant. And it was a woman!

Ted Cruz is actually not a flip-flopper.

He has always wanted "legal" immigration and not "legalizing" illegals.

Again, combine these two:

Fox News' Bret Baier Ties Ted Cruz In Knots Over His 2013 Immigration Stance | Crooks and Liars

So, was this the truth or was it lying? If it were lying, do you want a POTUS that lies to you? One that deceives you into believing something? We all saw the "Voter Violations", what he did to Carson............

Now, if he were stronger on illegal immigration than Trump or strong at all, he would support deporting illegal families with anchor babies because if we don't do that, we mind as well just leave it alone. They all have 5+ to bring in the welfare assistance. He refuses to answer the question. 1 support + 1 I'm not telling you = 2 (support letting illegals stay) a simple equation that says he is soft on illegal immigration.

I agree, Cruz avoided answering the question as to what he would do as president to rid our selves of illegal aliens that are already here. He wants bi-partisan discussion on it instead? He completely evaded the question as to what his personal opinion on this is which tells me everything I need to know.

Battling illegals is easy. When an illegal alien is caught committing a crime in America they are held to answer for that crime then they are held to answer for being in the country illegally then sent packing.
Trumps wall makes it extremely difficult to just drift back into the country for the average Jose.

Commit a crime and do the time and if you are illegal you get the boot to. No excuses. If you want to come back you follow the rules but of course being a felon your application will be on the bottom of the pile.

There are many illegals in this country that work hard for their families and live by the laws except of course being here illegally. For the ones that follow the rules of society you will eventually have to answer for being here without permission but if you break the laws and are caught, ADIOS.

We need immigrants to do the jobs that many don't want ot do but we don't need drug dealers, users, drunk drivers etc.. ADIOS.

It would be a start.

Good! Now the rest of the candidates for POTUS need to join both Mr Trump AND Mr Cruz to support kicking illegal aliens OUT.
yanno, I'm to the point that I don't care....by illegals coming here, it has changed the moral fabric of our country and trickled down into a land of lawlessness.....

If they are illegal they are criminals, regardless....

while it may not be pretty it has to be done.

I remember, many years ago, going to my favorite chinese restaurant, my waiter and I sparked a conversation. He was a young boy, who told me, he was illegal...and had been here for years. He also said he wasn't scared b/c Americans didn't care...and that is the truth....

So, while he was a nice young man, not a criminal, it is unfair of him to be able to stay here and reap the benefits of our country without becoming a citizen, and against the law....

When did our country start ignoring laws...when did our government become so corrupt, that they are bought off by corporations to leave these illegals alone....?

Here's where we disagree. If they are working in this country then they are either felons for using a fake or stolen ID or for working for cash and evading income taxes. So no, they aren't abiding by the law or following the rules of society. We don't need immigrants to work blue-collared jobs and we don't have a shortage of Americans to work most other jobs either. There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a fair wage. We have millions of unemployed or underemployed Americans now.

No, he didn't avoid the question. He kept trying to keep the focus on actually securing the border before we talk about anything else. The point being, we "can't" talk about anything else until the border is secured.

There is no reason to not talk about this. It is always better to work a plan than just to fly by the seat of your pants.

Everyone at this point knows that Cruz doesn't support amnesty but does want to provide a path for the illegals to be in the US legally. All you have to do is listen to his double talk. We are a lot smarter than those blindly supporting him because he wants to prepare the US for the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. That will not save our country.

Now, that Cruz has been caught in so many lies, anything he says will be suspected to be a lie. That's the way it works.
