An issue that started in 2015 and will continue into this new year promises to be a flashpoint for many undocumented families in Texas.

Marco Malagón was a proud new father when he went to the Dallas County clerk’s office three months ago to get his baby’s birth certificate.

His joy quickly turned to frustration.

“They asked for a visa, and I don’t have one,” he said.

Malagon: IF you're an illegal alien; just LEAVE, Ok? We DON'T owe your despicable kind a thing except 3 hots and a cot till you're deported. Period.

I love this requirement! So what is wrong asking for a visa? (Besides the inevitable court challenge). Just another bleeding heart story meant for us to feel sorry for these poor misunderstood folk only trying to better their lives with American taxpayer-paid benefits. We have enough legal citizens who have fallen on hard times. Texas and Arizona and California are sick and tired of these invaders, and now we have Central Americans added to the mix. No sympathy here.

When a parent illegal shows up, the county should call immigration and have them picked up. See, here is another easy and cheap way to get the deportations rolling.

This makes me think that we need to make people "mandated reporters" so that if they don't report a suspected illegal, they will face their own legal complications. They have this with adult/child protective services with cases of possible abuse/neglect/exploitation and it includes medical personnel, etc. Get the schools involved, etc. and we are on our way to enforcement by deportation.

Was the child born in Dallas? That was a rhetorical question, by the way.

I wonder how they even prove the baby/child was born in the US? I still think they should call immigration to make a pickup.

Unfortunately, unless they have a serious criminal record ICE will not pick them up per Obama's instructions.

What does that say about the President, when he issues directives for government employees to violate our own laws.

It's treason, plain and simple.

Article states that the father is feeling "energized" to get more politically involved since his child is being denied a birth certificate. This burns me to no end! Why in the pluperfect heck wasn't he this energized to fight for change in his own country? Instead he crashes in here illegally and pitches a hissy. Take that "energy" back home and fight for change THERE.
