They are immigrants, illegal or not. Why did the first settlers come here? One can argue that their immigration as well was cowardly.

As can the Navajo who came here (probably) illegally 1,000 years ago displacing the other 'indigenous' peoples.

The difference today under international law is there is supposed to be respect for a country's borders------in peacetime.

So; using Mexico as our guinea pig, if they attempt to subjugate us------we have the full right and responsibility to stop and, if needed, to conquer and, if necessary, annex said country to place it under full US control..

Difference? The earlier settlers did not break laws to come to this nation. Illegals do and they are criminals.

There were no laws when they came LOL! (Not saying they are illegal)

Thats not what I'm getting at anyway, they came here because of persecution in Europe.

They built this country up, as opposed to what illegals do. BTW, the Mexicans should fight for their country. Insterad, they run to our country and they then try to make it what they ran from. You using the analogy for the first settlers and the illegals of today is faulty at best and dumb as a rock at worse.

The settlers should of fought for their rights in THEIR country. Instead they run to the Native Indians country and they then try to make it what they ran from. Get the picture?

I catch your drift......and, the lower class Spaniards should have fought for their rights at home as well.

Welcome to history: good, bad and ugly.

I was going to say half correct, but actually totally incorrect. In the time the settlers came, there was no way in hell they could do anything back home in the face of being executed, talking entire families here. Mexicans and others don't have that prospect now, they come for more cheese, plain and simple. Secondly when the settlers came, they inevitably crafted this country to purposely not be anything like their countries back home. My proof, The United States Constitution.
