They should be at home studying or playing, not standing outside for hours holding signs, chanting, marching, watching their parents get dragged away in handcuffs. This is a subtle form of child endangerment and should be a priority deportation.

It is just insane to me that a city can set its own immigration law. If San Francisco can act like its own miniature country, could they do us the courtesy of erecting borders to keep the illegals they love IN San Fran and away from the rest of of us?
It's just another version of human shields. You can't enforce your laws against us because if you do, you will hurt our children. Fortunately that excuse/ tactic doesn't save native born criminals from facing justice.

Then they sue if anyone has the nerve to stand up to them. And win, of course. Obama has even had his lawyers in DC defend some muslims, so they'd win. I don't know if anything shocks me anymore. We live in such a crazy world.

Illegal aliens do have rights, all right. The right to get a cattle prod to the ass and a free trip back to the country they came from.

as liberals so much like to say that federal law overrules state law, in immigration so does federal law overrule state law.
what it should be like is, that any state or city that considers themselves to be a sanctuary state/city, shall not receive any federal taxpayer money or assistance.

At a press conference about the case, Jeff Adachi, the city’s public defender, said, “Pedro Figueroa was the victim of a crime, and today he’s the victim of a broken immigration system. San Francisco is a sanctuary city. We welcome immigrants, we have a law and a policy that should protect them, and yet Pedro Figueroa was not protected.”

Is he just doing the drunk driving that Americans won't do?

Since when does breaking the law make you a victim? San Francisco isn't about welcoming "immigrants" they are about giving sanctuary to illegal alien law breakers. Isn't that aiding and abetting and a direct violation of federal laws?

I wonder when politicians and pundits are going to stop making themselves look ridiculous by going out of their way to pronounce Spanish names with a Spanish accent -- complete with rolling R's.

No wonder the illegals have so much 'tude!

A few years ago, the illegals had a day in California where they would prove to everyone how essential they are to the economy by staying home and not working. They thought the entire state was going to be shut down and everyone was going to be so sorry.
What happened was that the roadways were much less congested and everyone who wasn't illegal went about their day as they normally do without a hitch. It was wonderful. Illegals never did it again here to prove a point because the only point they proved is how much better peoples lives were in general without them here.

I don't get it either. IF states like Arizona CAN'T enforce Federal immigration law, then states like Calif also need to be stopped from violating immigration law.

Of course they do. Children born using our tax dollars. Last I heard a hospital delivery costs over $20,000.00.
I bet not a SINGLE illegal has anything close to that in their bank account, and if they do, they're not about to spend it.
