OP is in California. It is a violation of the state's Fair Housing to ask a prospective tenant about their immigration status.

Stalking and calling her out! Lol! No where to run!

I'm sorry, but the dog pile was making me shake my head and chuckle. Hope she gets practical advice over yonder and that she learned her lesson.

Uh; I think it's against Federal law to harbor illegal aliens. Last time I checked, Federal law overrules state law. Remember that 55 MPH speed limit in the 20th Century? The Feds got real nasty if a state wanted to raised the limit above 55.

OP knows (according to OP) that the renter is an illegal, so now they've broken two laws. Fantastic. Karma's a b..each.

You didn't help no one.
You were greedy and wanted to make some extra money for yourself. Let's be honest about it.

Some communities HOA won't let you rent out your home. Are you living in one of those communities? If so, you broke the rule in order to make some extra bucks.

Nonsense. ICE will give her a house to live in and set her up for government assistance. That's what they do now to illegals.

Hayward CA
On another board you say she has been living and working in the US for 10 years (no mention of her legal status), and in the SAME post you say she's almost 60 and CAN'T work for medical reasons. But she's always paid her rent. What's the story here?
