From an article on the Democrat debate:

Quote:
Both candidates vowed that if they were elected president, they would deport only undocumented immigrants who were criminals. Democratic voters in Florida choose between the candidates in a primary Tuesday.
Are not all undocumented immigrants criminals? Is not another term for them illegal aliens?

They have all violated our immigration laws by coming here and working here. Illegal alien isn't just another term for them it is the lawful immigration term for them. "Undocumented" is just a made up PC term by the defenders of illegal aliens to make their unlawful existence in our country seem more palatable.

So both Hillary and Sanders are just going to continue with Obama's hands off policy on most illegal aliens? Why any sensible American would vote for them is beyond me.

Immigrants who break our laws are not benign. They are invaders.
If they were benign, they would obey our laws.
They are engaged in bio-war, and plan that their descendants inherit our lands.

I was wondering when one of you swifties would post about the alarming remarks at last night's debate.

Both Democratic candidates for President of the United States effectively said they would: 1) bring an effective end to deportations of illegal immigrants to the United States; 2) take whatever unilateral action above and beyond Congress is necessary to stay enforcement of our immigration laws until amnesty is granted.

So, I dunno folks, what do you think? Think you might get off your butt and vote this time? This is your last chance to take a stand on this.

I wonder how the people feel who are half way through getting their legal status? Meanwhile these candidates are promising a line cut. They are all "ILLEGAL," and it's just ridiculous half this country just ignores that. They come illegally, their everyday interactions are done illegally. They cannot register for anything, they have to hide from the law, all illegal.

My family immigrated here legally several decades ago and I and they will be voting for the candidate that doesn't accept illegal acts to enter this country as anything but illegal acts. Period.

I can't imagine the social program expense that will follow a nation wide amnesty plan. It's ridiculous at this time in our nation after such a sever recession to promise people this all for the minority vote. There is no way they can deliver this without hurting every legal working citizen here.

I really can't wrap my head around it, truly amazing it's even on any table of discussion. For those of us who did this the legal way it's a real slap in the face.

Yes the law needs to be enforced. The borders need to be secured. Trafficking in Humans and Drugs needs to be slowed to a trickle AND all candidates should enforce the law - that is not bigoted that is what any President should do.

However your lump sum characterization of "illegals" is far too simplistic. Our immigration laws in this country are at best confusing and at worst byzantine in their complexity. For example: Cubans (embargo exception), Salvadorans, sometimes Hondurans are accepted as refugees from violent civil wars in their countries. We accept refugees and some economic migrants. We have a Green Card lottery that seems to be random in it's awards. If the migrants get here they are allowed to stay but then often take years to get their Green Card/Residency. It is not a simple matter of enforcing our laws; our laws are a mess. Why we would take Cubans who swim to the USA but not a college degreed European or Chinese does not make sense.

Given the level of public discontent with this issue, Congress needs to act to revamp all our immigration laws.

No revamping the immigration laws. We need to clamp down on this refugee issue also. We have no jobs and they are sucking our public assistance teat dry. The free rides have to end. Trump has the solution since he has a comprehensive plan.

What do Hillary and Bernie care? They both have one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel. Well, they do.

It was pandering, Obama promised a legal path to naturalization twice while he was campaigning, meanwhile he has deported more people than any other president. I thought it was over the top, Reagan did full blown amnesty and it didn't work, I am a liberal I have the utmost empathy for people trying to better their situation but I don't agree with amnesty at this massive level.

A drug dealer is also trying to "better their situation". I don't see a difference.
