After years of increasing comfort with their status in the U.S., illegal immigrants say they’re being chased back into the shadows, and they blame Donald Trump.

The GOP presidential front-runner put immigration back at the top of the political conversation in June when he announced his campaign, blaming Mexico for sending some of its worst elements to the U.S. And the issue has remained at the top ever since, propelling Mr. Trump and renewing a national conversation that immigrant rights advocates had thought they’d won.

Not a thing wrong with chasing illegal aliens OUT of the US and the hard heads laying real low again.

Sad isn't it that they aren't feeling as comfy now?

Didn't I hear that Hillary was saying that there are now more mexicans heading back then are coming in? I suppose there have been cases of "self deportations" and I say that is a good start.

I used to work in a community that had a high percentage of Brazilians and most of them were decent people, some of them were illegal. I knew one guy that loved America and even became a citizen. He had his own painting business and was doing well enough to buy a house. His business suffered during the recession but what really hurt him was his own country men that were illegal and they undercut his prices. He ended up closing his business, losing his house and he went back to Brazil.

Illegal aliens hurt our economy and our country as a whole despite what the Dems tell us. I think it is good that the illegal element is getting nervous. It is really disgusting that they have our Presidents ear and he listens to them.

Hillary will take up where Obama leaves off.

Immigration lawyers will all vote Democratic as they want all these illegal to be their client. Under Trump they will not see more clients but less so you can imagine why they are eager to support Clinton.

The illegal aliens were so loud on TV but that seemed to have come to a halt during the Presidential debates and they seem to be very quiet like they should as they committed a crime.

I wonder if the percentages of marriages with US citizens and illegal aliens is on the rise.

Marriage ain't a "get out of deportation" card so it sucks to marry a lawbreaker. lol

You are very right but it may be a dream maker and wishful and hopeful thought for many. On the other side you may have people who are willing to marry for a lot of money and it seems that illegal have a lot of money as they don't pay taxes and don't put their money in a bank.

Many refugees seem to have paid in the 10k's or more to come here so they have money that some poor Americans may want to do crazy things for.

We all have heard of Russian brides and other Eastern block brides. The San Bernardino guy was married in a scam marriage to a Russian.

Many illegals have the life. Imagine being able to work and not pay Taxes, Healthcare, Social Security, Workers Comp, dues and everything else that is sapped out of your paycheck weekly.
Imagine getting handouts from the Gov.

They enjoy most everything that America has to offer like relative safety, plentiful food, cleanliness, working bathrooms, schools for their kids and other services. If you get hurt in America you can go to the Emergency room and get care.

Why would they ever want to leave? Why would they ever want to become legal? Imagine the look on their face when they get their first paycheck and a good percentage of it is gone to the Gov.

Some candidates want to give the illegal aliens drivers licenses and ultimately amnesty from their crime.

Amnesty. Pay a fine, start paying taxes sounds like a way to get these people to pay their fair share but how long will it be before some do gooder stands up in congress and says these people are being taxed without representation. It wouldn't be long before they get a vote.

From illegal to citizen in a flash. America needs a Trump.

They should be the equivalent of any other criminal on the "lam". They never know where and when their number will come up and they'll be apprehended. I was thinking, "Name me one other crime where you can commit it and not have to worry about it?" How many bank robberies would take place if they knew they would never be held accountable? I feel we are being 'held up" by these illegals.

You forgot to individually recognize, "have someone else raise your 5 kids" providing all of their needs including pre-natal care for the illegal alien mother. A "cradle to death" cushion.

The sad thing is that I have known and been a part of a couple who would like to have had or adopted more children but the cost was just too much. So many American couples that support their own children are only having one or two now. Acting responsibly isn't a characteristic of illegal aliens across the board!
