A big reason is to keep Central America from destabilizing. In the past, the US deported MS-13 members back to Central America and it greatly destabilized Central America as the countries became crime havens as MS-13 became extremely powerful. This threatened corporate interests in Central America as the government lost control over a significant portion of the country. The US is no longer really deporting gang members back to Central America as a result since it fears destabilizing Central America further. Of course, this means more crime in the US but most US politicians believe the trade offs are worth it.

Central American illegals: IF they're that nasty; lock them up in well guarded tent cities in places like Montana for a few years, THEN send their despicable kind home.

^ Better yet, keep them locked up permanently with no parole. how do these countries have no way to detain these thugs? honestly, I can't but feel that they could if they wanted to but there just isn't any political will to do so; Mexico being like the Iran of Central America in a way.

Central American countries don't have the funds to build a police force capable of dealing with this. Some of those gangs are richer than the police force and often bribe cops or just outright expel them from their territories that they (the gangs) control.

It used to be that illegal immigrants from Latin America (errr, the undocumented) mostly migrated to the medium and large cities of the United States in those states that had a large population of Latinos. Now, the illegal immigrants (errr, the undocumented) are showing up in the most remote towns and small cities of the country. From California to Maine, Washington state to Florida, Minnesota to Texas. Idaho, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Wisconsin. It doesn't matter. They're coming and they're receiving goodies from the government and many are landing jobs. Meanwhile the DEMS accuse the conservatives of exaggerating the issue. When the DEMS finally realize that the conservatives were not exaggerating it will be too late.
