California Sen. Ricardo Lara (D) is pushing a bill through the statehouse that seems to promise the impossible: Making California the first state in the nation to allow undocumented immigrants to get covered under Obamacare.
Lara’s bill — which was passed by the Senate last year — faces the state’s Committee of Health on Tuesday. Policy experts say this bill has a good chance of landing on Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk.

Ok Mr Lara and Mr Brown: we get it; your despicable kind don't like Americans but, will kiss up to people who DON'T have the right to even be in the US. Too bad your kind ain't locked up in prison.

And this is why we need to end birthright citizenship. Rep. Lara's parents are illegal, so now he's in the state assembly writing bills on their behalf. I was sure that Brown had already signed a version of the bill, covering illegals 19 and under, though Lara's original intent was to give Obamacare to ALL illegals. Gee that's not a loud, flashing sign saying flood into our state and suck up our benefits. California's state Medicare exchange is already one of the most stressed in the nation. Rep. Lara talks like our streets are paved with gold and all Americans have money coming out of our ears. California's poverty rate is the highest at 24%; this will only increase that number.

Extending coverage to illegals.

Ok. How much is the fine going to be for those that do not get coverage? Or do only citizens have to pay a fine if they do not have health insurance.

It gets more interesting, comical and very tragic everyday.

Goodbye, California. I'm still planning on visiting you one day, but it's either going to be around Yreka or Redding. That's it.

In 15-30 years, California will probably have a higher crime rate and murder rate than freaking Louisiana.

Silly people who think they still have a country.

The country they once had was given away by Obama, who they voted for in overwhelming numbers, years ago.

Make sure you vote against Trump because a wall is racist. Having an Anglo country is racist.

California belonged to Mexico, who stole it from California Indians, before the US stole California from Mwxico.

It's almost like the average American would be treated better in this country if they renounced their citizenship, left the country, and then snuck back in as an illegal than by being a responsible, hardworking, taxpaying US citizen.

And that is sad.

They've been getting it for a long time. They may not call it Obamacare, but they get free health care. Free to them, costly to us. They get Medicaid, which is completely free for them.

The liberals seem to want to have the American taxpayer subsidize the health insurance of everyone on the planet who can't afford the overpriced health care insurance that contributes to the most expensive health care system in the world (though far from the best by any measure).

I wish liberals knew basic math: with only 122 million Americans that pay ANY net federal income tax at all, you could take ALL their income and it wouldn't make a dent in the hypothetical insurance costs of the 5.6 billion people in the world living on less than $10 a day." Poverty Facts and Stats.
