So housing law still covers these people whether legal or not.

These people make very low use of welfare programs such as Section 8. In fact getting in to Section 8 housing has been virtually impossible in most of the US for more than a decade. They do get some aid through their children who are, and will remain, US Citizens. And they can receive certain aid such as medical emergency treatment which the US supplies to all regardless of status as a humanitarian requirement.
"Illegal alien" ain't a protected class even tho Obama doesn't agree.

My guess they worked until they qualified for a loan. I am with you how does one save that much cash living in a trailer in the first place, raising children........they still own the trailer find another park to move it to. She acts like her story is unique, hate to burst her bubble, but it is not!

Today a progressive said, "this is freedom of speech" not once considering these people are "illegally" in our country. Freedom of speech isn't for outsiders to tell Americans to leave, what the hell is wrong with people who agree with this behavior!

I'm also tired of this whole "separating families" BS. Send the entire clan back home together, problem solved. How will the US pay to ship them home, some cry? I'm not sure, probably the same magical pot of money some seem to think is good enough to spend in order to keep them here.

It's funny how South America is comprised of 12 countries and Central America is comprised of 7 countries, yet when fleeing their supposed persecution and horrible conditions, those illegals never chose to live in any of those other surrounding countries. It's almost like... they're sure they'll get free everything in that awful, racist country to their north.

Oh, we WILL, you little spit.

Yes Sir!

Why are not the Dems decrying the riots and criminal behavior being exhibited lately?
They acknowledge it but yet do not condemn it.

Round them all up, every single illegal, and send them away.....NOW!

This and other garbage being inflicted upon the American People is coming close to a head and will explode if it keeps up.

We should all rob banks at will, too. Illegal doesn't matter anymore.

Its affected me a lot, especially economically, Giron de Reyes said through a translator Monday outside the federal courthouse in Alexandria, where the lawsuit was filed.

She said she and her husband worked multiple jobs for years in order to save up $25,000 to afford a mobile home, which they bought three years ago and began occupying on a lot they rented from the trailer park.

At Waples, she said, she babysat for other children in her home to earn money. Now Ive been forced to look for other work, she said
---------------------------------------------
Don't you just love it/sarcasm? She is whining about how she is forced to look for "other work". Never mind, that as an illegal, she isn't allowed to work in this country. I bet her childcare business wasn't licensed either.

Landlords have every right to ask for SSNs from all the adults who will be living in one of their units. They need SSNs so that the landlord can do a credit check plus a background check. Since Rosy doesn't have a SSN and is clearly not on the lease, the landlord has every right to evict her. Also, even if everybody had an SSN, a landlord has the right to not renew a lease for any reason. For example, years ago my husband and I rented an apartment. A few months before the lease was up, we got a letter from the landlord telling us that the place was going condo and if we didn't want to buy our apartment, we would have to move when the lease was up. Smaller landlords (who may just own 1 multi-family unit) have told tenants they have to move out when the lease is up because the landlord wants to rent to a friend or family member.

As for the illegal alien Rosy (who apparently has made no effort to learn English) --- cue the violins.
Poor thing, breaking all those laws, dodging taxes and what not. She should be in jail but that would be on our dime too.

What a foolish statement. This is not about them being hispanic, this about them being criminal. You dont get a "get out of jail free" because you are a criminal hispanic.

Sorry you don't approve. Take it up with HUD.

Hispanic is Hispanic legal or illegal. A protected class.

The US requires that employers follow regulations even when employing illegals. Is that not a pain?
