good news.

A tie vote by the Supreme Court is blocking President Barack Obama's immigration plan that sought to shield millions living in the U.S. illegally from deportation.

The justices' one-sentence opinion on Thursday effectively kills the plan for the duration of Obama's presidency.

A tie vote sets no national precedent but leaves in place the ruling by the lower court. In this case, the federal appeals court in New Orleans said the Obama administration lacked the authority to shield up to 4 million immigrants from deportation and make them eligible for work permits without approval from Congress.

Doesn't really matter..if Hillary wins this fall, she'll appoint new supreme court judges and the immigration plan will be back in business.

Senator nelson is talking about this decision is not fair...what about issues for legal aliens who are treated badly due to the process taking forever and kids of E2 visa holders who have to leave when they turn 21...

How can it be unfair for an Illegal while legal have difficulties?

Illegal means you did something wrong and it is not unfair if you don't get it handed for free!

When Clinton is elected I hope that we can move on meaningful immigration reforms through the legislative process. Executive orders and the courts are not the place where we should be defining our immigration policies.

Anything Clinton proposes will have to go through Congress or else it will end up where Obama's plan ended up, nowhere.

That was my point. I am hopeful that legislators will realize they have milked this for about all they can, that it is a real problem facing the country and that they need to do their jobs.

Enforce the border and build a wall.

Then we can have meaningful Immigration reform if that's what is needed.

That's why democrats use word genjitsu, they tried to do away with the word illegal aliens, then illegal immigrants, followed by changing the term to undocumented immigrants and presto chango, trying to turn something bad into acceptable.

It's the same when they refuse to reference Islamic terrorism, not wanting to associate terrorism to Muslims even though it's Muslims are terrorizing and killing people while they scream praise to “Allah”.... oh that's right... they changed "Allah" to “God”.

- Democrats = word genjitsu = presto chango change bad to good,
- Illegal immigrants didn't respect or follow our laws,
- Illegal is Illegal no matter what words are used,
- It's all about new voters = power over people,
- It's all about more people on the tax payer funded dole.
