Don't worry about him. He has proven that he is nothing but a pro-illegal lover and hates the laws of our country. I have made my last post to him because I don't like trying to debate with someone so uneducated and ignorant about the subject at hand.

I knew that you would probably interpret it this way. I am not suggesting that slavery and discrepencies based on race are anything like illegal immigration in terms of morality. What I am suggesting is that speaking of other human beings like this, regardless of their immigration status, is morally deplorable.

I don't like this law, I think the law responsible for this is unjust, and I have a constitutional right that people have fought and died for to challenge it without you suggesting that I am a criminal for what I believe. I don't think you're very keen on what it is to live in the United States.

Nothing's built to last. I think it's smarter to adapt to the inevitable rather than try putting it off. Things will change as they often do, and I have faith that in the end, the right kind of people will prosper either way.

Irrelevant:

The USA is a sovereign nation and we have the right to secure our borders.

If you do not like it; feel free to move to another country------------no one is stopping you

If America were built by people like you, we would have been the Axis in World War 2. You are pretending to be a patriot but you're really just a coward, afraid of real solutions and afraid of realizing humanity. That's why you'd rather call me crass names like this is a highschool cafeteria.

I don't think all of the compassionate people leaving America would help anything.

I do not see an illegal alien apologist as being compassionate----------a traitor perhaps.

These are people first, illegal immigrants second.
Maybe you don't understand the hardship and suffering that people who are seperated from their loved ones have to go through. If two people want to get married and not go through months or years of waiting, expensive lawyers to get the paperwork in order... well then what? Where's the romance in getting married and then waiting for 9 months afterward to be able to be with the person you love? Of having to jump through hoops and show some officer your love letters so they can judge you and meticulously examine you to see if you're just making it up? It's degrading as hell.

Maybe you should hop on over to the legal immigration forum and see what people like me have to go through. It's not some kind of easy cakewalk. I don't even really care about living in a country where people like you think hard-working, well-meaning human beings should be treated like crap. Luckily I know that most Americans are a lot kinder and compassionate.

I have to agree with this.

If people are going to have relationships across borders, they suffer the consequences.

Not everyone picks who they fall in love with.

We need people who are college educated and aren't going to be a drag on our system.

You got my vote.

Everyone is so afraid to be tough anymore. There is a big price to pay for that.
